Stanton Farmhouse is a convict-built brick Georgian farmhouse on 16 acres of paddocks, orchards and gardens and we want you to make it your own during your stay. Stanton is one of Australia’s oldest homes with a rich history including Martin Cash, the Tasmanian bushranger who made the family ‘stand and deliver’.
It is not a grand residence or a stately manor but a down-to-earth family farmhouse. Every beautiful brick used in construction was handmade on the property 200 years ago.
You will be welcomed whether you are travelling by yourself, with a partner or in a group. We serve our own produce and the best from around Tasmania including ethically produced meat such as Scottsdale chicken and pork.
Stay at Stanton and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere from which to explore all the wonderful things Tasmania has to offer.
